SPORT

In keeping with our general aim of developing the whole person, sport and physical education are considered important aspects of the school curriculum.

All children are encouraged and motivated to participate in Sport, Physical Education and Health programs. In competitive sport, it is our aim to encourage participation, team spirit and enjoyment rather than winning.

On enrolment in the school, children are placed in four sport teams:

  • Chisholm – Red
  • Marcellin – Green
  • MacKillop – Yellow
  • Polding – Blue

These teams enjoy a friendly rivalry in school sporting events.

Students in Years 3-6 also have the opportunity to participate in a number of Diocesan Sports Gala Days and represent at Diocesan, MacKillop and State levels in a range of individual and team sports.
