At the commencement of each term a curriculum outline is forwarded to all parents/guardians. Included within this outline are the term's focus areas for each curriculum area.
Formal Parent/Teacher conferences are scheduled late in Term 2 and again in late Term 4.
A formal written report is issued twice per year; once at the end of Term Two and a second report at the end of Term 4.
The formal reports include a comparison of the child's achievement against curriculum syllabus standards using a common grade scale; teacher's comments about the child's academic performance, and information about the child's social and personal development.
Years 1 to 6 students have grades awarded for all the Key Learning Areas (KLAs) they have studied each semester. The following sets out the official descriptors pertinent to each A to E grade that is awarded for each KLA studied.

A |
The student has an extensive knowledge and understanding of the content and can readily apply this knowledge. In addition, the student has achieved a very high level of competence in the processes and skills and can apply these skills to new situations. |

The student has a thorough knowledge and understanding of the content and a high level of competence in the processes and skills. In addition, the student is able to apply this knowledge and these skills to most situations. |

C |
The student has a sound knowledge and understanding of the main areas of content and has achieved an adequate level of competence in the processes and skills. |

D |
The student has a basic knowledge and understanding of the content and has achieved a limited level of competence in the processes and skills. |

E |
The student has an elementary knowledge and understanding in few areas of the content and has achieved very limited competence in some of the processes and skills. |
